Another year like the last could put Josh Pastner on the hot seat. Cracked Sidewalks looks at the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, who could take on Marquette in Fort Myers.

Here we are.

They rebound well, they block shots well.

Not sure what Marquette needs to do, but I’m sure they should probably try to win this one.

I am looking forward to seeing how MU attacks the variety of zones.

Against the 2-3, who do you want to see at the foul line?  I put Oso there and Omax down at the bottom.  Let Oso get the ball at the foul line and make decisions.    Or Stevie.

Against the 1-3-1, set the high screen and let Kolek wander through and create.

Was wondering the same thing.  Hopefully Josh, I heard Mark can coach.

Marquette has covered in 4 straight so they are due to not cover.  Hopefully they win by 1 or more IMO.

Preseason, I thought Georgia Tech was going to be bad. Their results this year are far worse than that. They're undersized and the only thing they've done "well" is three-point defense, which is mostly a result of luck, their case the luck of facing two of the 20 worst three-point shooting teams in the nation in their first three games. Marquette by double-digits, and I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the first digit is crooked.

Marquette doesn't seem to have the firepower to pull away from competent basketball teams...also how crooked can the 1st digit get? Lol

Maybe they don't, but I'm not convinced Georgia Tech is a competent basketball team.

Depends on how good GT is at defending the 35 footer jacked up 5 seconds into the shot clock.
