I would geniunely be curious why the hell a highly touted QB wants to go to ND right now.  Its a graveyard.

Tyler Buchner: Highly touted and picks ND over USC, Bama, UGA...  Looks terrible even before injury.  Transfers to Bama, stinks cause he's already ruined, now is a lacrosse player and walk-on WR after being a top 100 recruit.

Drew Pyne: Another top 200 QB recruit, plays alright.  Gets booted.  Leaves to go to ASU, stinks before getting hurt.  Now a backup at Mizzou.

Sam Hartman: Sets all sorts of records as an All-ACC QB at Wake.  HUGE get for ND.  Has a decent year, but nothing special, goes from a middle to late round pick to undrafted.

Riley Leonard: Had a really nice year at Duke, then an up and down year with injuries last year but another transfer portal coup for ND.  Now suddenly he can't throw and looks like a spaz.

Colt McCoy...not ready for primetime.

Just got home from the Mizzou game and had to look up who was doing the broadcast for this game. He's horrendous.

The thing is, how did someone at NBC think "man, we gotta get Colt McCoy"? How did he pass whatever audition he went through? That broadcast was atrocious tonight, he had no energy, zero personality, and whenever Burmeister tried to tee it up for him, he would be silent for seconds and then not have an original thought.

I mean it's not like there's a lack of capable color analysts. If this was Jacksonville State vs Southern Miss on ESPN+, who cares how bad Colt McCoy is. But to throw him out on NBC in primetime...certainly a poor decision.
