From the season ticket holder brochure:

AHPRC PHASE II
The Athletic and Human Performance Research Center (AHPRC) Phase II is a capital project to support Marquette Athletics within the campus master plan. The new facility will seek to serve as a new home for Marquette Men's Basketball, retrofit the Women's Basketball and Women's Volleyball program space, and provide locker room parity for each of our OlympicSports currently housed in the Old Gym.

It's my understanding that the men's basketball program would move to the new facility and that the women's basketball and volleyball programs would remain in a retrofitted Al McGuire Center.

I think using the Bucks practice facility, which was completed in 2017, as a reference would be a great start.

I would love to see the practice area include 2 full sized courts side by side.

Also, it would be great to have a Marquette Men's Basketball Hall of Fame and Museum at the new facility as well.

There is mostly one now at The Al but I get your point as it's more of a Hallway of Fame.

Where will the new facility be located?

Guessing they add on to the back of the building where Schroeder field used to be.

The Lens

The side by side courts thing has been a #mubb goal for sometime now.  I would assume thsi will be added on to the west end of the existing AHPR center.

Where will the hyperbaric chamber and tanning beds reside now?  In the new Tom Crean Basketball Center?

As soon as his $100K check clears.
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

Figured that was destined for the new soccer stadium.

Next to the judo dummies, of course.

Nope it's coming from MUs coffers/donations. Players get to pocket all that NIL money (after taxes)

Yeah! But if they paid a butler they could deduct that as an expense.

I don't understand how someone can repeatedly show such a misunderstanding of NIL like 69 does.

It's a Scoop hallmark of a few members that they keep misunderstanding the same stuff no matter how often it's explained.

Oh, the kid that got a 6 figure NIL could pay for 3 butlers (OK a little hyperbole), but I have a misunderstanding of how this works. Are you telling me it is against the rules to throw in a few butlers instead of cash in their NIL? I thought there were no rules, especially in Wisconsin. I get it, the money for the facility is coming from MU/donors, but a private personal attendant could be in an NIL contract.

Why are you doubling down on this nonsense?

Its just my opinion. As wrong headed as you think my opinion is, is it against the rules to offer perks other than money for those paying the NIL to a player?

OK, I am tripling down and my thoughts may be hyperbole, but pay to play is here.

It is not. But again,  this is a university funded project.  Nothing to do with NIL.
