Oh yeah forgot that. Thanks.

Injured Diener still better than the crap I saw at the end though.

Duane with the squad but not playing.

Survive and advance. Big bucket by Cook.

I can't recall the last time I saw a player miss all three FTs on a fouled 3pt attempt. Jamil was not himself tonight.

Ya...I tvought my computer had to be wrong.  That is unheard of for a decent FT shooter.

If you have any streaming service, you have access to "all the ESPNs." If you pay for ESPN+ or the "bundle," with Disney+ and Hulu, you get 'em too.

Even if you have cable and therefore only get ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU, you probably still can get access to stream ESPN, either on a computer/tablet or via Roku or Amazon Fire or Chromecast. When you add the ESPN app, it will ask you to sign in through your "provider," aka your cable user name and password.

I thought everyone knew this, and has known this, for at least 5 years.  😂

By some of these questions- you’d think people were still shopping at Radio Shack and climbing up on their roof to adjust their antenna.

I hate the new shoe prize.

Guys are focusing on winning the thousand bucks instead of focusing on winning the game.

Agreed. Wearing one shoe for 90% of the game then switching in hopes of hitting a shot in those at the end is dumb.

Can someone help me understand why Puma's marketing team would permit the rule where a player  (ie DJO) can change his shoes to Pumas in the last possession solely to win the $?  Why not require them to wear the shoes the entire game?  Its a complete disrespect to the sponsor / Puma in that the only way DJO would ever wear Puma is on the last possession and for $1k.  Hell I may wear Pumas for 5 minutes under those circumstances.

Yeah but for any player to be selfish enough for $1000 could potentially cost everyone $66k a piece

You’re talking about puma basketball shoes now. I’m sure a lot of people had no idea they were even in the hoops shoe game.

My guess is the amount of impressions the game winning shots get on social media makes paying $1K for a player to wear the shoes. At least that’s my thought on the theory. Not sure if that’s how it works out.

I totally get why Puma is doing this; the publicity is priceless. And I totally get why many players would be willing to switch into Pumas late in a game; a thousand bucks is a thousand bucks.

But it's not the best look in a team sport when players are scrambling to change shoes for personal gain even as their team is in the process of blowing almost all of what looked to be an insurmountable lead.

Here are the main questions I had as I watched MU's Elam Ending shyte-show last night: Are any players wearing the Pumas all game long? If not, why not? Are they that effen uncomfortable?

I thought the 2 on 1 break MU had when they only needed 1 point to win and kicked it out for a brick 3 was the play of the game.

I don't have it recorded, but I wonder if they were deliberately kicking from someone who didn't to someone who did have the Puma shoes on.

Derrick played really well last year, and last night was a good start for him, too. This team has so many shooters, he doesn't need to shoot or even drive to help the team a lot with his defense and hustle. I think he only took one shot yesterday, and he swished a 3. Also made a few 3s last year IIRC. It's not surprising that he improved over the years since graduating.

During his time at Marquette, however, he didn't play on good-shooting teams. Defenders sagged 10 feet off Derrick and that hurt the offense. Buzz and Wojo hamstrung themselves by not recruiting anybody better to play PG during those years. It wasn't Derrick's fault that he only could do what he could do. Always seemed like a nice guy and great team player.

Yeah, but it was a wide open three.  They have won games over the years by hitting those and it might be a better shot than a contested two.

Because, did you notice how the announcers pointed out for 3 minutes straight that guys were changing into the PUMAs?  That is direct shots of the shoes, and guys strapping them on.

A part of me wanted to buy the shoes before I woke up and was like... oh this is great marketing.
