But my preferring Markus does not in any way diminish my appreciation for DJ.
Both things are possible.

Oh of course!  I just remember when people were disappointed in DJ as well.

People here get disappointed over lots of things.

What we should really be taking about is what if you put Markus Howard and Dom James in a blender?

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

It is good to know that Dom likes Shaka and vice versa.

I loved Dom against Valparaiso.   I loved the block against Tennessee, the block against Wisconsin.   I loved that they ran alley-oops to a 5'9 guy.   His broken foot derailed what could have been a legendary season.  I appreciate everything he did at MU and was a huge fan.

Two time all american is always going to win with me.

I loved when Dom would have his back to the basket 12 feet out near the baseline, feint over his left shoulder to the top of the key, then spin baseline and get to the hoop before his defender had even registered he wasn't going left.

For me, the one guy over the last quarter century who deserved much more than he got at Marquette. Total stud.

+1.  It was a mortal sin that Crean could never recruit some talented bigs to go with the Amigos.

I'll take Cubillan, Reggie Snith or Logterman over Markus any day of the week.

Both Dom and Markus were great MU players. I do not think it is unreasonable for someone to prefer one over the other. I honestly had forgot how much I enjoyed watching Dom play, it seems a lifetime ago. I would not argue with someone that thinks Howard is better all around MU player, everyone likes different type players.
