Here is a summary for anyone who didn't attend.  A new staff planned the event.  The banquet started off great.  Looked like it was going to be the best event in years.   However, about 2/3 if the way through the event went off the rails.  What started with tons of promise ended as just another below average, uninspiring, underachieving event that was a waste of everyone's time and showed no signs that  future banquets would be any better.
