Again, you read my mind, Unk.

Of course, that's a short story, not War & Peace.

Moore is backing down O'Connell and has a distinct advantage with the clock running down.  Get over and help.  Not a great game but emblematic of what Nova is this year and what Creighton is.  Congrats to both

The Big East is very fortunate to have MSG. The atmosphere is incredible and it's head and shoulders above every other conference tournament. The Big Ten and ACC are very jealous of it.

Ryan Hawkins was big time scorer vs MU
He really laid an egg tonight

No kidding.  Where were those clanks off the rim on Thursday?  The entire Creighton team was downright awful from three in this one.

Big East has sold out the last 4 sessions. The Big Ten and ACC hasn't sold out one session.

That's college basketball for you.

Which is why I get so upset that Marquette too often craps the bed early at the tournament.  I think the Friday nite doubleheader is as good as it gets for college basketball.

Plus the Friday night semi- sat night final adds to the excitement.  Always more juice at the BET.

Spaniel with a Short Tail

Mid-afternoon, the lowest priced tickets for tonight's BE championship game were going for about $80. ACC would set you back $20.

Part of why I have hope for the tourney. It feels like we're defending and forcing tough shots that just seem to go in lately. A few of those go away for an opponent, tilts our way.

Clean slate for Thursday. Hoping we see a return to the team concept we know these guys can play and succeed with (seriously though...pass outta doubles, Justin).
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Here's the glaring problem - the opponent misses and gets the rebound.  The second chance points have killed MU all year.  That's not changing in 21/22.  Hopefully Shaka addresses that issue next season.

The team was surprisingly good at preventing second chance points during the streak. But yes, dreb is an issue.
