One thing I find bothersome is when the Big East broke off, on his show he is very adamant on how bad this was for the Big East and how much worse the conference would be.

Why would you make a guy like that your key announcer for you biggest tournament?

Many said that. That was 9 years ago. Egg on face. Rothstein said years ago the Big East, A-10 and American would be fight each other for bids.

  i'm sure this has been discussed but why is creighton "on the bubble'?  that's not good for us even though winning 3 in a row against same opponent isn't easy.  however, we are going up against a big motivator here.

Right but to my knowledge the Big East does not have them as one of key announcers for their flagship event.  I should dig up his original discussion.  It was something else.

Saw Cooley addressing his team postgame in the locker room and I can see why his team does what he asks and wins the close games.

And he even complimented a guy for making a couple FT's.  Too many coaches blow off their importance.

Since coming Fox Sports, he is a Big East honk. Which is great. He might have been bitter since he is good friends with the AAC commissioner from their CBS days.

We kept playing too but there's no sense of urgency from the tip.   I was also disappointed with our celebrations after a few good plays.  This team is very slow to get back in transition and do a poor job valuing the basketball and snagging rebs with authority.
