Brando didn't seem to grasp that. He kept saying you wait to see if they are shooting a 3 and then foul. Unless I heard wrong, he totally misread that whole situation. Agree the only plausible explanation was that Scruggs thought they were up 3. Steele in the uncomfortable position of covering for Scruggs in the post-game and taking responsibility while his job is potentially at stake. Brutal loss for X.
