Covid certainly plays a part, but the answer is much easier. Win consistently and the numbers will go up.
Just win baby.

About 50 tickets left.
Only one pair left in sec 114 last row.....otherwise all singles.
No tickets in upper deck at all.

Why is it so quiet in the Kohl Hole that the media is writing about it?

The Kohl Center was a library during the Rutgers game, even in crunch time. It was weird. I think masks have a lot to do with it. I'm surprised at "mask over nose" participation at MU games. It has to be 95%+. I think people are much less inclined to yell when they have a mask on.

The problem is Uncle Rico has too many nieces and nephews who don't understand his dry humor and opt for the movies instead. I sincerely hope this forum can find a reasonable way to  muzzle this man quickly and find and antidote to similar behavior before reprobates like this ruin the entire program. I'm kidding, of course. Jeeze. Go watch the corn hole semi-finals on ESPN2

Vander Blue Man Group

Clearly every game would have sold out if Porter Moser had been hired.

Lol. This pic is something.

Neither of us looked as good as we did in the mid-80s when he was rocking and I was at MU.

I need to add this video of Gordon playing with the Lost Bayou Ramblers who he performed with when I met him. Only because he looks like a chunky Tom Crean. Ha.

COVID is the reason.  A lot of our lower bowl seats are owned by long time season ticket holders/bigger donors, who also tend to be 60+.  Many in the 70+ are terrified of Covid, which ultimately is too bad because many in the medical community believe Covid will never go away - just continue to weaken and become similar to influenza.  Booster shots will continue to be administered and mitigate risk.  The question is if those in higher risk groups will ultimately feel safe enough to attend.

ChuckyChip

One COVID impact not mentioned, which has been a factor for me missing a few games - usually I work in downtown MKE, but we've been at home since March 2020 - so instead of being downtown already for weeknight home games, now we have to decide if we want to make the drive downtown.  We've made almost every game but did pass on a couple of the later starts.

Frankly mostly Shaka's fault for calling team to play with violence. Keeps older fans away....

COVID is certainly a factor. Also, attendance tends to trail performance by a year.
