Agreed. I name autocorrect as one of the great anxiety producing elements of modern society.

It creates so many obnoxious errors. And yet there is this handy function wherein you can turn off autocorrect.

It's worse. It's like autocorrect knows. It knows we'd rather live in a world with autocorrect's numerous obnoxious flaws than live in a world without autocorrect where our own substantially more numerous flaws are exposed and where we are reduced to choosing between typing at a speed slower than the speed it took to write out the Ten Commandments on a stone tablet or accepting that our text will be nothing more than a garbled mess of words and the occasional misplaced emoji.

I hate you autocorrect! I hate you for making me love you....
