Great great win.

To be fair:
We could have lost by 10 or won by 10

Nova misses some open shots.

And we fuked up a few of transition plays after forcing turnovers. (Greg trying to force a shoelace pass to kur).

Lewis proved he wanted to be the man in the last 3 min. Love it!

A road win at Nova is a season changing win and very likely a program changing win. We ain’t on the big boy map yet, but they are trying awfully hard to get on it.

After the Kolek clunk three miss and the Elliott pass at the ankles to Kur turnovers, this after two Nova turnovers, I believed it was over. 

Defense won for MU, especially exterior.  Kur was great, Oso got creamed. Shaka’s system for putting up threes almost got them in second half, that’s the only thing they were doing.

Good bounce off the foot and good shot by Lewis.  Nice win, tough games coming up, don’t get cocky guys…..

Wish we had that Creighton game in pocket though.

  Shaka has now got these kids believing in each other.  When that happens wins like tonight happen. We are building a tournament resume and more importantly the kind of mindset that can win tournament games.  .

Team is growing up fast before our eyes.  I said what I wanted this year was a team that got better as the year went along.  It has and the winning is a sweet bonus I didn’t expect.  This is a huge win.  I don’t think it can be understated.  They had an opportunity and they seized it.  In the last two games, they’ve had stretches of adversity and responded.  Great sign

Our D is getter better by the game. They are playing great half court defense and it is now coming naturally to them.
