I wear navy blue to games because that is Marquette's primary color.  Call me crazy.

The only problem with that is many of our Big East opponents wear navy at the Fiserv.  As the home team MU won't wear navy uniforms at home.  So at the home games if you wear navy you're wearing the color that Villanova, Georgetown, Xavier, UConn, Butler, etc. is wearing on the court that day.  Then you have the royal blue of Creighton, De Paul, and Seton Hall.  I'm not renouncing navy as MU's main color, just pointing out that in the stands the gold or baby blue will clearly represent MU while navy often won't.
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

Very disappointed in the spirit shop these days. I flew in for the game this past weekend and was looking forward to getting some new gear but they closed at 4 on Friday and were closed completely on Sunday plus there was zero chance of going Saturday with the 11am tip. I've also heard the selection has been weak

Oh well, hopefully they have better hours during St. John's weekend

PS, wear gold for Lovell

supply chain-probably stuck on some cargo ship in san fran bay

A "problem" that really isn't a problem.

Just a bit.

Just shut the hell up and wear the gold zip-up hoodie you don't have and can't get!

A good start for a partly gold quarter zip to make everyone happy:

This will be hugely unpopular, but that thing is heinous.

That's a beauty!  I saw a guy wearing that at Saturday's game...love it!

Since we're ragging on the spirit shop, the Marquette Custom Shop is awful. The lack of effort for a decent player branded clothing is appalling.

Also, no yellow zip-ups or hoodies in there.

Can we get a university sea lion as a live mascot? GTown, Butler and UConn all get a live mascot. Why not us?

If I'm at the Fiserv, I'm not worried about looking like the opponent.  It's "my" arena.  I can see your point, if I went to Hinkle I would  rock some yellow.

FYI, it's yellow not gold.

Bingo. I'll usually wear a navy 1/4 zip at home games. I've been to a lot of away/neutral games and mandate gold tops for the family.
