I have a gold shirt, but I'm irritated that it's virtually impossible to get a gold zip hoodie. I've been looking for one for years, the Spirit Shop never has one. Their gold options are pretty much crap.

Zip up. Does not exist. Hasn't been on the Spirit Shop website or in store for at least 5 years.

Is it wear Gold for Lovell on Sunday OR wear gold Hoodies but only gold hoodies that zip up not pullovers which are very difficult to find for Lovell?

Wear a frickin yellow t shirt and call it a day for crying out loud.

Pullovers >>> Zip ups anyone. Which is why the Spirit Shop doesn't carry the zip ups.

How f f*ckung hard is it to wear gold?

Glow Jr came home from his first semester freshman year with a dozen gold t-shirts.

The first time I did his laundry it was 80% gold shirts and the rest was miscellaneous clothes.

Very disappointed in the spirit shop these days. I flew in for the game this past weekend and was looking forward to getting some new gear but they closed at 4 on Friday and were closed completely on Sunday plus there was zero chance of going Saturday with the 11am tip. I’ve also heard the selection has been weak

Oh well, hopefully they have better hours during St. John’s weekend

PS, wear gold for Lovell

I tossed all my cheap gold MU shirts after college and would assume a lot of other people did too. Thought I didn't have any gold but I do have an Elite 8 shirt and one MU lax one from playing freshman year. All of my other MU gear is navy blue I suspect other people have the same issue

I’m wondering how much of that is with students being on break with limited staffing.

Poor selection at the spirit shop isn’t a new development.

I have no respectable looking gold clothing because it's a crapty shade gold that MU uses.

Oh well. Hope Scoop Mom doesn't drag me out of the Fiserv by my ear.

The only problem with that is many of our Big East opponents wear navy at the Fiserv.  As the home team MU won't wear navy uniforms at home.  So at the home games if you wear navy you're wearing the color that Villanova, Georgetown, Xavier, UConn, Butler, etc. is wearing on the court that day.  Then you have the royal blue of Creighton, De Paul, and Seton Hall.  I'm not renouncing navy as MU's main color, just pointing out that in the stands the gold or baby blue will clearly represent MU while navy often won't.

Since we're ragging on the spirit shop, the Marquette Custom Shop is awful. The lack of effort for a decent player branded clothing is appalling.

Also, no yellow zip-ups or hoodies in there.

If I’m at the Fiserv, I’m not worried about looking like the opponent.  It’s “my” arena.  I can see your point, if I went to Hinkle I would  rock some yellow.

FYI, it’s yellow not gold.

Bingo. I'll usually wear a navy 1/4 zip at home games. I've been to a lot of away/neutral games and mandate gold tops for the family.

This game is HUGE!!!!!  A win propels us likely into the polls, gives us an amazing start to our 6 game gauntlet, and would provide some cushion in the conf standings as they relate to final record and big dance prospects.

As great as last nite was, and I will never take those type of wins for granted, for me it’s always the next game that shows me more…..
