Yeah, that too!

When he was little, he and his sister rooted for Marquette because their mom and dad did. When he was 12, I took him to see Wade play a high school game against Eddy Curry's team, and D-Wade totally dominated. He couldn't believe Marquette was getting such a sensational player. (Frankly, neither could I!) And from that point on he was all about Wade.

He had a circuitous route to DePaul that I won't bore anybody with, but it all worked out well for him. They shoulda signed him up to play hoops!
