Least favorite play:  Joey Hauser throwing his hands in the air when he didn't get a pass.  Davante Gardner doing the same.
Least favorite game:  MU v WMU in the NIT.
Game attended:  Anything under Dukiet.  Fearing Fordham and Iona.
Least favorite season:  1987-88
Least favorite player:  Scott Merritt.  Not a fair or rational choice.  Something about him made me nuts.   Sorry, Scott.
Least favorite coach:  Dukiet.
Least favorite team:  1987-88

Least favorite play:  Bucks throwing the game away against Louisville
Least favorite game:  MU vs Syracuse E8
Game attended:  MU vs Ohio St 2013

Least favorite season:  2013-14 (everyone thinking this was the year! And crap ourselves)

Least favorite player:  Jamil Wilson (TBT not included) never played to his potential. Could have been the next "great" in a line stretching from Wade, Diener, Novak, 3 Amigos, Zar, DJO, Crowder, Vander and instead he plays passively and weak.

Least favorite coach:  Buzz (for the way he left)

Least favorite team:  2020-21, I thought we'd have another Ellanson type year or Rowsey senior year but man was i wrong

I'd like to change my least favorite game to Billy's answer, I'd blocked that one out. Damn washington

Least favorite play: Brook Lopez over Burke in 2008. Never felt worse at a MU fan.
Least favorite game: NCAA tourney meltdown against Washington in 2010 tourney.
Least favorite game attended: MU at Wisconsin, 2001.
Least favorite season: 2004-05 after Travis went down
Least favorite player: not going to call out college kids
Least favorite coach: Buzz
Least favorite team: 2011-12
Least favorite jersey: 16-17 through 19-20 (especially the whites and greys)

The Lopez one hurt the most for me, if only because I was in a bar full of Stanford fans in Mexico. At least I got a lot of free drinks after that as the bartender befriended me and kept yelling "LOS MARQUETTES!" and ringing a bell nearly ever time we scored.

that one was personal for me too which really made it sting.

I ended up sitting on the front step of a brownstone in Manhattan for about 2 hours afterward. My wife went to our friend's birthday party on her own.

that game was the first time I'd ever heard of MU. After church, we went to my grandmother's house for dinner. I was watching that game in her living room and was immediately drawn to MU. My dad called me into the dining room for dinner, turning off the TV, and I didn't know who won that game for a ling time. But I did know I liked this college team called Marquette.

I thought long and hard about that one.   Place was rocking, Pops Sims had a career day, all there for the taking.     I was not the guy throwing pennies, but I was in the student section and it was nuts.       The thing that stopped me it that the David Rivers shot a year prior hurt me worse in the moment.      Looking back, the UNC loss was a negative turning point for the program.

I have a soft spot in my MU heart for the WV win and the Vander layup. Also, Vander in the BE tourney, I was in China following online and went crazy when he delivered. Vander is a top ten favorite of mine.

He was incredible on that Tourney run. That play plus I remember a runout dunk against Miami vividly from that run.

The 2010-11 jersey was different and resembled the prior years converse jersey. The jersey you're thinking of was 11-16 had the color differentiation on the front and a bend on the side stripes.

Running Marquette Overload, the most frequent comments I get are people's love for Tony Miller.  A Tony Miller post generates more likes and comments than anyone outside of Dwyane Wade.  This got me thinking what are other people's all-time Marquette favorites.  I don't care who or what the best or most important was.  I want to know what your favorites are.

Brother Lenny,

I thought about adding that Rick Mount shot as well. But in that game, if Rick Cobb had hit his free throws at the end of regulation, there would have been no Rick Mount shot.

Was not at that game, but it kept us out of our first final four.

I was at the Rick Mount game and was heartbroken. Granted, I was a little guy and took loses very hard. Worse, Ric Cobb is one of my favorite MU players off the court and he did miss key free throws.
