We shot 33 percent from 3 last night . That is like shooting 50 percent from 2. So I am okay with the amount of 3s being shot

But my point is that 15 is a low number compared to other games.

But as long as we can make nearly 35% of our threes (or better), we should keep taking as many as we can.

The offense is either get to the rack or shoot 3s.  Last night, the forwards were able to get to the basket.   It was clearly a priority.

We do not need to take the first thee. We need to look for a good three. I feel like we chuck up a three whenever we can and some of them are not sound. Being open is not the same as being in position to take a good three. A rushed three or one when your feet or not set leads to misses.

Take the first good open shot that presents itself. If it's a three, fine, if it's not, also fine. Different defenses will present us with different opportunities. Different players stepping up will also present different opportunities. GE or TK getting hot will result in more threes than last night when JLew was getting whatever he wanted in the paint.
