Game ended when Kuath missed the dunk. Inexcusable

Execution down the stretch just really bad. Hope they learn form this, but no moral victories.

Ugh - this team seems to just collapse when they get a chance to tie or take a lead in what were tight games.

Marquette is quite adept at delivering “kills” on the offensive end.

Execution has been fine. Shot-making here at the end not so much.

Yah I disagree. Execution has been horrible. Do agree that this team is horrible at making shots tho.
I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

We could just never get over the hump.  It really hurts.  It's not exactly execution
We missed a dunk, a lay-up, and a 8 footer.

They had 3 really good shots in a row, including a dunk and a layup.

Need a talent infusion for that to happen.

Still don’t have a bad loss on the record. This team is going to play a ton of close games. The BE is very even and we lack experience. I think a tourney berth would be incredible this year and that’s not a criticism on the coaching staff or the roster.

Bottom line, this is much more enjoyable to watch than the Wojo era aside from the two years Markus and Sam were in synch.

This wasn't a good loss.  No loss to a non Top 25 team is a good loss.

A top 3 team in BEast lead by 2 5th year players and a senior.

But whatever, keep your anti-Shaka propaganda machine running.

Wish the mods would just ban hammer this turd.

UCONN was ranked #15 like three weeks ago. I would hardly call this a bad loss.

I see the point, but at some point you have to start having a little more expectations. maybe the bar being so low is realistic, but that is a scary thought for this program. every year the expectations sink lower and lower it seems.........

I like Smart but strongly disagree with his drip by drip thing. this program is going down the toilet, interest will continue to shrink. Gotta try and use that transfer market next off-season to try and bring in some guys to win now

Doesn't make one bit of difference.

A loss at home to a non Top 25 team is not a positive on the NCAA resume.  Whether you want to admit it or not, this was an important game.

Nah, they got a stop on the next possession and still had a chance to tie or take the lead.
