He's a fifth year senior who could go anywhere as a grad transfer if he decides to stay a sixth year. Why would he transfer mid year?

He's clearly in the doghouse with Shaka on multiple fronts.  It can't be easy to finally be healthy, be one of the few experienced guys on the team, and then get your minutes cut in half.  He already has his undergraduate degree, so that isn't what will keep him around.  If he continues to be stuck on the end of the bench these next few weeks, does he just save his ego from a little bruising and find his next team by January?  I guess that's assuming he'll even want to play next year.

He probably shouldn't have had a "lapse in judgment" that resulted in a 4 game suspension to start the year.

The press isn't necessarily about forcing turnovers - although that is a byproduct.

More so about putting guys in uncomfortable positions after crossing half court. It's a win if we get a big guy in space trying to handle the ball downhill or make a quick pass.

At the very least, a conservative press can take a ton of time off the shot lock.

Yep, it's also about wearing out the other team. Other than Lewis and Morsell who are a step ahead of the rest, there isn't much drop off from our third best player to our eleventh best player. When you have that level of depth, you can afford to press all game whereas teams with shorter benches may get worn out. There's a reason why we have consistently had big second halves despite slow starts (w/ the Bonnies being the obvious exception).
