This doesn't even look like it is Marquette (or Shaka)-licensed.

Why would I buy something where Jon Rothstein gets all the money?
Have some patience, FFS.

The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

Why give money to Rothstein when you can buy something where some of the proceeds for sure go back to the athletes?

Why is Rothstein selling shirts?

It's his thing. He started with the whole slogan thing for various coaches, then started putting the slogans on shirts a year or two ago. Trying to push his own brand, I guess.

I can’t think of a person’s name I’d want less on a shirt I wear. Maybe Rovell and Skip Bayless.

That's awesome. They could very easily do some justice to other former players by offering a former jersey template you can put their name on. Obviously wouldn't be perfect as we're not putting a converse logo on for example but similar.
