He's not that good

Don't tell him that. If I was Frazier I'd choke him out

Give our young Warriors credit.  Gutsy win when you consider the rebounding and free throws.

source?

Did...did we just win? F*** yeah!

Beg to differ but it looked like he got hurt at one point. But not his best game.

Best win of the Shaka era.

Outside of Nova and maybe a WI game or two (cuz WI), that might be the best win post Buzz.

Stuck without television coverage at my hotel but DAMNATION!

WOW!!!!

Thank you Shaka1

I'm encouraged.  It's only one game but this team could have easily folded down 12 as Frazier was going bananas.  Heck of a win with a ton of areas where we can improve.  Looking forward to GE returning.

Huge win!!!  It wasn't pretty, but it got the job done!

So happy for our kids, coaches and program tonight. Huge momentum builder for now and beyond.

I am still in shock. A really gritty win with heart. It was ugly and it was tough. It reminded me of one of Al's earlier games. Congrats to all. Defense works.

It would have been so easy to settle for a "moral victory" in this one. Really proud that our guys hung so tough. I've been really hard on Kuath but he made a lot of big plays tonight!

Kuath was enormous tonight. I'd like to see him calm down a bit offensively and not try to sledgehammer everything, but absolutely was critical to our W.

And I don't think we will face a more unlikeable tandem on a team than Curbelo and Hawkins.

There are some insane stats in this game:

We were outrebounded by 20 and Illinois had 19 offensive rebs.  We missed 13 free throws.  Illinois had 26 turns.   One thing to think about is getting to the line is a much more important stat than FT percentage.

So nice to see UI sucking wind and gassed while our guys just kept pushing.

Brad Davison still plays. And I'd argue he is more obnoxious than both of them combined.

That being said, Hawkins was extremely annoying.

PW, we got the Rodents on the schedule. Pick two. Davidson and the coach's cousin's mailman would qualify.
