[Cracked Sidewalks] Ole Miss Preview

Kermit Davis' teams in Oxford have been consistently good but not yet great. This year looks like another that will be spent largely trying to get back on the right side of the bubble. Here's the Cracked Sidewalks look at Marquette's Charleston Classic opener:

That 1-3-1 sounds like fun.

I think Kuath could be huge in that game. If they can get him some lobs at the rim, it really could play into what we want to do.

I really need MU to win this game. 9PM tip time would be a little tough for the family (3 kids) to attend! ;D

I was gonna ask what you do think Kuath can do offensively and if we can get him some rim runs and jackhammer slams at the rim?   Do we have a player capable of delivering either the pocket dime or instaflush?  We have struggled mightily passing the rock during the Wojo era.  I like Kuath and hope he gets some touches.

According to Shaka, Kolek is the best passer on the team.  But we don't yet have context for that statement (i.e. everyone else).

Nobody is sure of anything until the games start.    More than in any season I can remember.

Same, but for a diff reason - a win on day 1 gets us away from the possibility of a 1p ET tiip on Sunday (Vikings / green bey)
Thanks for ruining summer, Canada.

Kuath has a very nice shot from 15 -17 feet
Winning is overrated. The only time it is really important is in surgery and war.

Having watched our first couple games, I think Ole Miss' zone could give us fits. Through two games, they are scorching opponents, but they haven't played anyone inside the kenpom top-300. Going to be a tough test today.
