While I would read next to nothing into this game, we're probably going to need to shoot 60% from deep to beat teams better than BC. Gonna be a longggg season.
We just went through the Wojo years...and you're worried THIS year being long?

If we need to shoot 60% from three to beat teams our defense will be historically bad.  I'm hoping for better D than that.

Would it make you feel better if MU was up 15-20 most of the second half, and the lead shrunk in garbage time?

Nominated for the first dumbest post of the year.

Great. Now it'll start a "Shaka's teams can barely hold a lead" narrative.

Per other reports it was more of a "set up some plays" situation than it was a full on game simulation.

Did we run an inbounds play successfully?

Just have Markus lob it to Sam.    History made.

Uh oh, Nova just took a seeding hit:

QuoteThe secret was already out, but it became more evident to Villanova on Saturday afternoon: Duke basketball power forward Paolo Banchero is a beast.

Per tweets from Blue Devil insider Zion Olojede, the 6-foot-10, 250-pound freshman out of Seattle totaled a double-double with 29 points and 12 boards in leading Duke, who ranks No. 9 in the Preseason AP Top 25, to a not-so-hush-hush "win" over the No. 4 Wildcats in Washington, D.C.

No Theo mention??

Duke posted a highlight video on their twitter account. He had a few buckets, but probably won't get a ton of minutes this year.

He's not a bad 8th option on a great team.

I was bored yesterday and read that thread. It's amazing how if poor badger fans ever lose anything, they immediately tell the fan base on Twitter that "it's your super bowl". It's their pathetic go to line. It's got to be taught in an incoming freshman class or some shiz?

Shooter McGavin

Why are there no tweets on MUs secret scrimmage?  I know there were posts about the number of threes made but it felt like guess work.  No official tweets came out.  Or did I miss something?

I like the one dude who replies to like 5 different people saying to stop freaking out cause 2 Badger freshmen didn't play.  Cause we all know Badger freshman recruits outside of the top 100 are always the huge difference makers in that program

I thought I've read he's there starting 5.

Back up to a freshman.   Speculation that they might run a mammoth front line out there.

They're much more likely to go small with Paolo spelling Williams at the 5 and putting AJ griffin at the 4.
