Maybe your guy Theo will have his back.

1. Did Theo sign with Madison?

2. Why is Theo "my guy"? Because I said he wasn't a bad player?

3. You sure like to "stir things up," Goose.

Probably the most underrated Elton song of all-time.

My personal favorite of EJ's.  I tend to like the epic songs.  "Italian Restaurant" is my favorite Billy Joel song, and "Bohemian Rhapsody"  was probably my all-time favorite rock song before classic rock stations started playing the crap out of it.

Also a huge fan of "Paradise by the Dashboard Light".  Marvin Aday/Jim Steinman is among the best rock collaborations ever.
Have some patience, FFS.

Scenes from an Italian Restaurant is an all time great song.  I don't think he made a bad album but his early stuff is superb.  As far as "epic" songs it's hard to beat Captain Jack, Ballad of Billy the Kid, and Goodnight Saigon.

That picture kind of reminded me of the UW WhiteWater 50 half barrel winter rugby tournament back in the day where the only way a girl could get into the most popular bar on campus was to do a "handshake" with the guy at the entrance.....Davidson appears to have that "technique" down.....

I was at a piano bar once and requested "Italian Restaurant".  The piano player looked at my tip (which was on the higher end of customary) and said, "You know, that's really like three songs".  If it had been within arm's reach, I would have pulled my tip back out of the giant brandy snifter and told him to eff off.

Downeaster 'Alexa' and "Ballad of Billy the Kid" are my two favorite Billy Joel songs.

Does Alexa get confused if you ask it to play "Alexa"?

Downeaster Alexa is another poignant and phenomenal song.  Yitzak Perlman is the "famous violinist" in the original recording.

My top 5 Billy J songs would be:

Zanzibar
Angry Young Man
Goodnight Saigon
Only the Good Die Young
I've Loved These Days
