Let's see what happens now. The Projo's warned there'd be a mass exodus. Time will tell.

We R Final Four

I'm not a projo at all, but I do believe there will be recruits who don't arrive and transfers with any and every coaching change. HS players commit to the coach.
It's the way it is.
However, with the transfer rule this is the beat year to make this move.

Aidoo is as good as gone.  Remember, he never signed a LOI and there were rumors the big boys were still talking with him.  They will now be all over him.

Kam is a guy who blew up last year and he will have a ton of suitors.  Look for Penny to get involved in a big way.

New coach will be starting from scratch with an empty roster.

Could someone quickly explain the transfer rule for this year?

It will be tough next year and it sucks if we lose Aidoo.  But I do think we can turn this around quickly with the new transfer rules if we get the right guy.

Marquette is a fantastic place for a student athlete to play basketball. They will find high quality players one way or the other.

Players will not need to sit out a year if the transfer. They are immediately eligible. Next year only.

You sure this is next year only? I thought this was a new rule moving forward. Guys could transfer 1x without sitting out. I also don't believe it's been formally approved but apparently is a foregone conclusion.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

Again, Aidoo never signed a LOI.  It has been rumored that the Blue Bloods have been whispering in his ear the past few months.  Now they will be screaming in it.

I assume there will be fallout.    There usually is.    It would be more surprising if there wasn't defections and cancelled LOI's.

Don't think Kam will be coming either based on his tweet the other day

The retweet of Marquette WBB?

Joey Hauser didn't seem to love his role this year at MSU.  Would we be willing to take him back for his senior year?  Same with Sam if he takes advantage of the extra year of eligibility (gotta imagine Sam is ready to make some money professionally).

I'd put the odds of this happening at 0.000069%

Haha, I agree just popped in my head so thought I'd throw it out there.

We R Final Four

As I've said before the number of super seniors who return for yet another year of college basketball is going to much less than people think it will be.
You don't go to senior day and then return for another season.

To be fair, a lot of people here have called Wojo the goat.   But they don't mean what Kam means.

Hire the right coach and fresh starts are a good thing. Ask Musselman and Arkansas about getting a new team together. 10 newbies on their roster this season.
