Dominic had a 42....

Top 5?

Remember there is an animal on our planet that has a 600 inch vert.  :)

Charles Luter before he hurt his knee.  Don't know the numbers, but it definitely passed the eye test.

Artie Green back in the day would have competed for the top spot.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Yes Luter. Watertown NW Prep.

Trend as well.

Artie "Grasshopper" Green

Mark Harris has to be up there (no pun intended). 5-8 dunking machine.

Wally E must have had a pretty decent one.

Good call on Burton

Artie Green's leaping ability was off the charts.

Hank used him for the opening tip, and he'd often have Artie line up as the inside rebounder on FTs. Lots of alley-oops, too.

Green was listed at 6-2, BTW.

Rivers could sky, too.

Oh, and I literally laughed out loud at "Ners." Thanks!

Ners

No need to state the obvious.  Perhaps no one has ever spent more time up in the ozone.

Good Call.  I'd say 39-40.

His no step vertical was under 33" (the list from his NBA year stopped there). His max vert with an approach was 39.5", so I guess it depends on whether you are listing no-step or max vert.

Ike Eke

From the article on his retirement: "He still flashed athletic gifts, including setting the program's record for vertical leap before last season."

Would have really enjoyed seeing him in action.

Hadn't thought about that.  It's quite sad Ikechukwu couldn't get healthy.  A lot of raw potential.
