Most days.

That's very solid.  I'm still not there yet and may never get that good.  I wish I could get some extra pop and height on my long irons.

Hybrids.   I have 3.   There is nothing like the feel of a purely struck long iron.   But it is far too elusive.   I can hit my hybrids respectable diatances out of the rough, which helps on long par 4s and par 5s.   Hitting a 3 or 4 iron out of the rough is a non  starter.

I have a 3 hybrid which serves me pretty well but I can hit my low draw with my 4 iron consistently and I get more roll.  Maybe I'll look at some lower loft hybrids.  On a moderately long course I almost never get to the green in 2 on a par 5.  The issue is what to do if I'm 240 yrds or more from the fairway.  I don't think I'll ever get more than 270-275 from the tee which is also a prob. But I don't like the trampoline drivers and am generally super accurate with my old Cleveland.  I also can't hit the 3W from the deck which is a mystery.

Move it back in your stance.

The 3W?  I'll give it a whirl, ty.

The more I think about it....maybe Strick should go with the young guns.  I'm not sure Simpson would be a great choice with the length of Whistling S.  And Mickelson is just not playing well enough. I would think Reed is out.  If it comes down to picking between Scheffler, Berger, and Burns who gets the nod?

Woooooooops!!!

Cantlay now in the driver's seat.

I missed what happened before the 2nd playoff hole?  Did Bryson miss several putts?  He looks rather upset.  :)

It depends on the venue.  They try to use holes that are easiest to move fans around

I guess this isn't breaking news but....these guys are good.  Really good.  That's a 475 yrds par 4 btw.

I vote for DeCharcuterie to be retire prior to the Ryder Cup.  That nickname has aged about as well as a charcuterie board left on the first tee all weekend

I can put it to pasture if it bothers you.  I thought it was pretty innocuous.

Muggys I like your nick name for Bryson so I would vote to keep it . You have been using since back in Dodds days.

Ty Herman.  But JWags may be angry?  I can always play it by ear.

Haha I’m not angry. Just giving you a little grief. If you want my totally unnecessary opinion, I’d mix it every 3-4 mentions  ;D

I know it's just a little snapshot ... but based on what we saw Sunday, who would you rather have taking important putts in the Ryder Cup, Cantlay or DeChambeau?

Bryson is a pretty good putter.  He putted well in big spots in other tournaments, so a one off doesn’t concern me.  The larger concern would be the reluctance with chipping
