This is such a horsesh*t defensive gameplan.

I don't see us playing bad defense.  I see an incredible, well-oiled, offense.  There's really no defense for what they're doing.

Creighton is good and tough to defend.  But if defense is going to be our calling card, we have to do the little things.  Need to close out  (Jamal has been a step slow all half) and rotating. The commitment needed to be a defensive minded team is not there

They're doing what they do every year. They haven't adjusted any screen coverages, haven't tried token pressure to slow the tempo...

Chasing and switching is the desired outcome for them. They want Zeg and Ballock with Theo on them.

Creighton moves the ball as crisp as any team I've seen in a long time.  They have a feel for each other and for what to do, where and how to pass.  Very impressive.

Justin Lewis is clearly our best freshman. Might just be our best player. Should be getting 25-30 mpg.

He's a turnstile on defense, though. Not that Garcia is any better.

This is a MUCH better team than Wisco.  There is a reason we were a touchdown underdog. I don't think Marquette has played particularly poorly, but if Creighton's shooters are playing well....that's a big hill to climb

D has been fine. We let up a couple inexcusable offensive rebounds that burned us instantly. But hte D has been solid. Creighton is just really really good and they get a lot of possessions playing fast.

Yeah thats the crazy thing. We played WIsco at 4 and this team is at 9.

Creighton so much more deserving of their ranking.

I think both teams are playing really well. Creighton is absurd shooting the ball, just ridiculous. Could certainly do without the amount of turnovers, but MU is competing at a high level tonight.
