We R Final Four

Jockey

Another no-brainer.

Classy kid. Hope he has many more games like this.

ChitownSpaceForRent

Kobe with an "E" tonight.

Dr. Blackheart

Xact

Koby. Good night. He let the game come to him.

Koby was great - did a nice interview with Lavin afterwards, too.

Nobody else was better than "fair".

JakeBarnes

Koby. Has adjusted nicely. A LOT more confident and in control this year
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Koby was interviewed on FS1 after the game. Seems like a really nice kid.

fjm

Good for Koby. He needed this.

It's great to see so many people have great games early. No one stand out is good. That's gotta give all the players confidence.

Koby.  Really liked his interview.

Thought early on it might be Dawson again, but Koby carried them tonight.  Solid night for Theo.

My thoughts exactly

brewcity77

Early on looked like Dawson, but Koby just took over in the second half when Green Bay made their pushes. Every time they took a punch, Koby had the counter-punch.

CountryRoads

I thought Koby has been good the last two games. Picked his spots tonight and took over and also played within himself against UW.

MU82

Koby has had a solid season, and there obviously is no other possibility for SOTG here.

TAMU, Knower of Ball

Koby for not only the points but the 4 dimes and 0 turnovers.

The Koby we are getting this season is the one I thought we would get last season.

Yep.  I think Koby has been real solid so far.

I am reminded of how we have often maligned transfers that didn't fit in right away. Guys like Luke Fischer, that are immediate impact transfers, seem rare here. Most are like Reinhardt, Carlino, or Lockett, where it takes a month or two before they start to contribute consistently. I think that allowed for longer leashes initially for guys like Chartouny and McEwen, but when neither really produced in the back half, we just assumed they wouldn't work out. Maybe Koby just needed longer to make that adjustment.

Thinking about those long transitions also gives me hope that DJ Carton, who has certainly shown flashes but hasn't been the immediate every night impact player we hoped for, will be rounding into full form in the next month or so.

Stretchdeltsig

Koby played great. He looks like an NBA guard.
