Kenpom and T-Rank both project a 3 point MU win.

Down to -2.5, Cunningham money coming in hard. Total shot up to 148.5.

So, uh, is this thing getting played tonight or nah?

Wonder if its a situation like Dexter where someone is still recovering from it?  The active case phrasing is worrisome though.

I don't think the Big 12 requires the 2 week pause. If Oklahoma State have handled it to their standards and that person is quarantined away from the team their I assume it'll be played barring any positive tests today.

Also, the team flew to MKE yesterday around 4 PM. That update was released a few hours prior to the flight. I doubt they would have flown here if the active case was going to prevent the game from being played.

Any chance it's Cade Cunningham or Isaac Likekele?
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

The one good thing about covid is we only had to witness 1 absolute blowout.

So what do we think?     Were the first two games just cupcake warmups?    Fool's gold?   What is going to happen against a legit opponent?     Looking at the OSU roster, MU's lack of speedy 6'6 guys is going to hurt tonight.

I honestly can't recall our last speedy 6'6" guy.
Tonight will be a good test for this team.
Looking forward to seeing what Wojo can do.

Does Jamal count?  Otherwise, you are probably going back to JJJ.

So what do we think?

Cowboys go down looking like a rookie on a mechanical bull.  They hang on and look good at first, fall off an get embarrassed soon after.

I think we win comfortably tonight and lose comfortably on Friday.

I'll be as interested to see MU play against Wisconsin as I will just watching Wisconsin play period.  Seems like a ton of hype around Wisconsin.  Will be interesting to see if they really are #4 good.

They aren't.

I doubt it.  But I think they are going to win a bunch of games, especially early, considering how experienced they are.

I dont think they are #4 good. Maybe top 12-15. Once again, Wisco gets the benefit of returning nearly everyone from a year before and that makes them top 10 team in preseason rankings. It has happened on more than one occasion. They almost always play an easy non-conf schedule those years too.

I took MU first half -1.5, purely on the basis of OK State going on the road for the first time.

Early season game in a year where the program shut down for 2 weeks and had a lot of offseason turnover scares me when the other team has the best player on the court. Unlike last year where the top pick was almost entirely potential and wasn't one of the very best college player, Cade is very, very legit. This early in the year that worries me, as having a singular talent that can take over a game just based on individual talent can win you some games where neither team is what they will eventually be.

I think MU wins, but I think it's a very tight one.
