Juan Anderson's Mixtape

This season is getting good.  But now I have to binge watch Clone Wars to get the back story.  I'm only vaguely familiar with it.

Good integration of Ahsoka.  Baby Yoda having a name is nice, too.  Tied up some loose ends while opening a world(s) of possibilities.

Will be curious if they ever pursue a spin-off with Bo-Katan and/or Ahsoka

With as good/well done as the Mandalorian is, disney should be absolutely ashamed at how the sequels turned out.

Agree 100%.  They needed a Kevin Feige from day 1 to make sure everyone was on the same page.  I think this series will tie up some of the questionable decisions or try to.  Give Filoni and Favreau the keys to the property.

Thrawn?!?!?    Wow.    They are certainly digging deep into the canon.

He was in "Rebels" on Cartoon Network.  Pretty long storyline outside Heir to the Empire.  Disney wants the buzz to open some more possible live action series and I'm all in

Not sure about Bo-Katan, but rumors say they are planning a solo series for Ahsoka starring Rosario Dawson.

Finally watched the latest episode. I have to imagine this series sets up to leave the Jedi vs sith world behind right? If it doesn't they basically are saying Luke and Leia screwed up and couldn't find supposedly an extremely force sensitive child not to mention the implication that the guy who supposedly was supposed to resurrect the Jedi missed out on at least one huge asset in that mission (Ashoka) or Maybe more.

Just like Rian Johnson tried to do... Hmm...

I'm not a fan of Boba Fett, so his presence is a negative for me.

He was an ancillary character that for some reason developed a fan boy following, I guess because he looked cool.  The Jango Fett & Boba Fett backstory from the prequels never felt right to me.

Now, the character is being further developed and I personally don't like it.  The Boba Fett story arc feels completely disjointed, from his prequel beginnings to the OT to Mandalorian.  It doesn't feel like one seamless character, but rather 3 separate characters.

There's a decent amount of Boba in the clone wars.

Plus he's almost the basis for Mandalorians themselves.

So, it 100% makes sense.

Clearly setting up an additional Jedi to come train Grogu.  Just throwing something up at the wall, but maybe sets the table to introduce Ezra Bridger to take over the training of Grogu, they spin off for a show, then Mando can start new adventures without being tied to the fate of BY.

As for the rest of the season, just get the whole band back together, Dune, Karga, Bo-Katan, Fennec, Boba, Mayfeld, Ashoka...for good old battle with Moff Gideon and his Darktroopers.

Maybe Cameron Monaghan reprises his character from the video game?

I assume that is pretty close to where we end this

But the big battle is probably a season away.  No way they can set that up in the next two episodes.

I mean, next episode recruiting "the gang" season finale big fight makes sense to me, probably with a surprise appearance from a Jedi.

Probably get another season of Gideon, but I can see this arc wrapping up with a big battle in the finale.

Boba fucking Fett. Incredible.

He has a huge following because he's a badass. He was done wrong in RotJ.

Well...

Disney announced an Ashoka Tano spinoff series which probably keeps Thrawn out of the Mandalorian for now.

Also announced:

- Kenobi mini-series based 10 years after Revenge of the Sith, will include Hayden Christiansen

- Cassian Andor mini-series

- Rangers of the New Republic, also a Mandalorian spinoff

- Also, a Lando mini-series
