Man, this one hurts. One of my favorite actors of all time. Rest in peace Mr. Bond

I'll take "The rapists" for 400, Trebeck.

"Therapists", Mr Connery, the category is "Therapists".

I've spent five years of my life trying to invent an anal bum cover, failing to do so is my greatest regret.

I think my favorite is The Pen Is Mightier. "You're sitting on a goldmine Trebek!"

The only Bond that matters.

How dare you disrespect George Lazenby!!

One of my favorite actors beyond Bond. I think it feels a bit less morose cause not only was he 90, he'd largely stepped back from the public for the last decade and I remember seeing him at Wimbledon, I believe, looking quite frail.

Absolute legend whose legacy will live on

"The Rapists" was good too, as "ahh, ruff. Just the way your mother likes it."

Honestly, when I saw "anal bum cover" I fell off the couch, I was laughing so hard.

My wife and I went to see Finding Forrester, a 2000 film that starred a 70-year-old Connery.

As we walked out of the theater, my 40-year-old self said: "I hope I look as good as Sean Connery when I'm 70."

To which my wife responded: "I wish you looked as good as Sean Connery now."

Truth hurts!

RIP to Bond, James Bond.

I saw that movie as a 16 year old and absolutely loved it, which speaks to how charismatic and fantastic he was.

Thinking back today, over the last 20 years, the number of quotable moments from Connery I routinely mention, none are even Bond.

"Some things in here don't react well to bullets" from Hunt for Red October has been a favorite forever.

"Welcome to the Rock" from The Rock

"You the man now dawg!" from Finding Forrester was incredible

And jeez, Jim Malone has about 20 in the Untouchables, besides the classic knife to a gunfight

"If you're afraid of getting a bad apple, don't go to the barrel. Get it off the tree"

"Welcome to Chicago, this town stinks like a whorehouse at low tide"

And my favorite...
"Why do you want to join the force"
"To protect the citizenry.."
"Ahh don't waste my time with that bullsh**"

So many great quotes from Last Crusade, my favorite:

"I suddenly remembered my Charlemagne," he explains. "Let my armies be the rocks, and the trees, and the birds in the sky."

And the "How did you know she was a Nazi?" "She talks in her sleep" line was subtly brilliant and completely improvised by Connery.

"Finding Forrester" is often the first Sean Connery movie mentioned fondly, with several Black friends of mine.

"That foul shot, did you miss it, or, did you miss it." "Not exactly a soup question is it."

Besides some of the James Bond films, that I have seen, which came out well before my time, ....some other less mentioned ones "Just Cause" "Rising Sun" etc ..

I like the one where he was detective Franciscan monk with Christian Slater.  Some murder at a conclave of various religious orders.
