Alcaraz is having a rough day but it's rare you see him this frustrated.  His serve has been way off but Sinner is outplaying him.  Jannik has also been much better tactically.

The third set yesterday between Davidovich Fokina and De Minaur, was beyond incredible.  The 10th game took 14 1/2 mins with De Minaur saving three match points. The fact that Davidovich Fokina has still not won a title made it even more dramatic.  Very high level match as well with insane points.

I'm pretty impressed with Nava. He looks like a top 50-60 guy, not someone who is ranked 114 and was ranked in the 200s late last year.

Heck, he grew over the course of the match last night!  Totally agree - very fun guy to root for and some really great tennis last night.

Wish he'd get a different coach, still think he approaches opponents' tactics one dimensionally and lacks proper adjustments. But he's one of my favorite players to watch these days. Just absolutely crazy athleticism (DEI?)

Maybe that's true but the improvement of his backhand from a complete weakness to occasional weapon in under a year makes me think he'll get there.
