Glad to see Duane Wilson is being included and treated like the MU grad he is rather than some "traitor" to Marquette

I was one of the first 100 students on the court during this game.  Got there super early to secure lower bowl.  I even made the jumbotron during a timeout.  I remember it was a $5 pizza night at Papa Johns that fueled my enthusiasm for 40 minutes.  For anyone that wants to say I'm a DePaul fan....

He is a grad, not just an alumnus.  Sam is an alumnus as well.

You only have to have attended to be considered an alum.

Thanks for posting this. I was on a plane that night and was not able to watch the game live. So this will be fun.

Lol was one of the first people on the court. Ran toward the student section which was released. Quickly turned and ran the other way to avoid being trampled. Haha

Seriously.  It's like I am sitting in a living room with a bunch of guys who aren't paying any attention to the game on TV.

Had to nix it.  I thought the convo was pre game.  Homer desperately searching for anything to talk this game was a little much.

Look at it this way, you learned that Duane never set foot into Real Chili. That is worth something.

OMG doing the broadcast of the game was a great idea, why did they ruin it with all the inane chatter?
Was I dreaming, or did Duane get asked if he was playing in this summer's TBT?

This was obviously recorded a few weeks ago.  Duane said he had talked to Joe Chapman and had worked out with the team and would be on the team if anyone dropped out.  In another year, they might have added him to the roster, particularly because Travis missed the first two games.  They could not do that this year.  They had to submit a full roster from the beginning.
 Clearly, they set it up the way Joe wanted, and he did not need another guard.  He was going to fall behind the guys who have played in the past, but I expect he would have been there before Jake Thomas this year.  Maybe we will see him next year.

Yep, at one point Jim asked Luke how old his daughter was, and he replied, "What's today, the 12th?  She just turned 8 months."

Lol had to miss most of it tonight. From the sound of things not overly sad. But can rewatch. Haha. Just remember yelling “ Let’s beat these guys” late down about 8 that night. Awesome game and good times!

Jerel understatedly did not play his best in TBT last year. Does anyone know where he was this year

On the rewatch, MU lost ;

Exciting game, but not even the most exciting in the Wojo Era.
