I entered this topic expecting it to be a link to a story about her “suicide”, happy to be wrong.

Saw that earlier today, just wild

Are you sure that wasn't a Sam Gilbert quote?

Good to see trump wish her well. Of course, he said Epstein was a great guy, too.

So there’s that.

You can just say Bill Clinton.  We are all aware.  And if things went on that he was a part of, then he should burn.  Just like anyone that participated in anything.

But let's not pretend that Trump doesn't have a long sordid history with Epstein and Maxwell.  Not to mention his questionable comments over the years.

Being associated with them, or flying on their planes, does not necessarily implicate anyone in anything. Let's reserve judgement to where there are facts.

But an individual saying "I wish her well" in regards to a person who was involved in human trafficking for decades, while you call peaceful protestors scum, and thugs, is grossly inappropriate, and frankly disgusting.

Good people on both sides of human trafficking.

If anyone else wished this monstrous women well, I would have named them as well.

Morning Joe was pretty direct that this follows trump’s previous actions when he is signaling to a person that he will take care of them if they stay quiet about him.

We have never had to worry about a president like that before in this country.

Fair enough. We have never had to worry about a president like that before because, newsflash, most elites are sick puppies, and the world is finally waking up and shining a bright light on sordid things, and finally not just for the sake of airing dirty laundry. People are legitimately sickened by it all.

Jimmy Carter is a rare good egg in a rotten bunch. If only he had delegated authority more during his presidency, the history books would have been kinder on him. We need more people like James Earl Carter in politics today.

Given all the problems he had during his presidency, history actually is pretty kind to Jimmy Carter.

It's rare that anybody talks about him being a bad president anymore. Heck, when McEnany was telling lie after lie to defend her boss' attack-peaceful-protesters-for-photo-op thing, she brought up 4 comparisons: Churchill assessing the damage during WW2, Dubya throwing out the first pitch after 9/11, Bush Sr. signing the ADA while flanked by disabled people ... "and Jimmy Carter putting on a sweater to encourage energy savings."

The entire comparison was outrageous, of course, but that's not the point. History remembers Carter quite fondly. Why? Because he's a great human being. He certainly didn't "wish well" any sexual predators.

Well, I think it is pretty obvious that a sex trafficking pedophile is a better person than a former sunday school teacher who has devoted her life to public service.

Maxwell is a scumbag, but that’s a hilarious whitewashing of HRC. I mean SHEESH.

You take me way too seriously, Wags. It was a joke responding to a tweet (which pretty much, by definition, makes it a joke).

On a serious note, 1) Hillary would have been 1000 times better of a president, and 2) I am not, nor was I ever, a fan of Hillary.
