I could actually see this happening, if only for one or two opening games.  D Wade is definitely not one of those "retreat to my private island forever" retirees, so an event like this is perfect for him.

FWIW, TBT tweeted that out and about 5+ teams all quoted it saying something cryptic & got retweeted by TBT- so it wasn't an isolated MU thing

It's weird. I didn't see MU as one of the 24 teams listed as playing this year. They are certainly hyping up a lot of announcements.

Mustapha Heron just got added to a team so you could possibly  see guys like Markus and Sacar joining the team.

This is a lot more possible than past years with NBA not having a summer league this year so players won't have the visibility there. Might be Markus one chance to show more in an organized basketball location before the draft.

Howard may be a good back up possibility. Especially because diener is more then likely not coming. I don't see a spot sacar plays in though.

Howard/Buycks/Jamil is some real-ass scoring punch.

Sacar would be an upgrade on Jerel if he were to play.

They just did. I hadn't checked since this morning when they weren't on it yet. Roster is up to 9 players now. Not sure how many they can add if they want more.

Travis joining up makes me think its even more of a possibility that Wade is on the roster.  Again, maybe just for a game or two.  But of all years, this would be the one for Travis to skip - it feels like there had to have been a bigger incentive than the chance for redemption. 

Or I'm falling into the TBT's well-laid trap, and they're just sending out these cryptic messages to drum up attention.  If so, I'm no better than everyone's aunt on Facebook.

Jerel was brutal last year

Agree jerel had his day no business on the court last year.  Team was noticeable bad when he was on the court, including the end of the OSU championship game.  Reminded me of the end of the Villanova game ugh!!
