Looks like Carton may have a short stay at MU, rated 19th pick on CBS Sports Mock Draft for 2021.  He should be the star next year with the ball in his hands
most of the time.  It might make recruiting for next year easier for Hunter or Warley as there chances of starting are pretty good.  The 2 guard will either be Perez or
Elliott, room for another guard as well.  Looks to me, that the 2021 recruiting might be the most important class in Wojo's tenure if he wants to keep his job.  Theo
gone, starter,  Carton, gone, starter, Cain, possible starter, gone.  Lots of moving pieces for 2021.

He has to have his waiver accepted to play right?

Carton has been cleared to 'start' this season for us?

No, but the amount of players being cleared last year tells me he will, Perez even has a chance since he did not finish the season either

Ok-I'll await the NCAA's decision.

Mr. Sand-Knit

Boy what a big decision this will be. Season changer. Kid is really really good.

Just think if he would have came here from the get go. A starting backcourt of Carton and Howard. But then again the season was ended via Covid, so would that have made the season more frustrating?

I've thought about the same thing. Starting lineup of Carton, Howard, Sacar, Bailey, and Theo. Koby comes off the bench, maybe reduced pressure leads to better efficiency from him. Could have been very special. Ah well

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

And Carton left mid-season for mental health issues.

But man, a healthy Carton & Howard would have been extremely fun to watch

MU82

Wouldn't have had issues here. Joey was long gone!

Carton has not played a second for MU and we are already talking about when he is gone? Slow day at the office I guess.

Not saying he is gone since he has not put a uni on yet, but when you see him as the 19th pick in the draft, makes you think.  At least I do not have to watch Koby
control the ball all year again, which at times was painful.

I'd be a lot more interested in a Nico/Howard backcourt.
