DJ Newbill is playing on Team Brotherly Love.

Passing on Newbill or Jeremy Lamb, which was Buzz's biggest mistake?

These announcers mention every team but Marquette

Fraschilla did spend some time talking about Golden Eagles, mostly DJO & Buycks as a backcourt scoring combo.

yeah he brought them up for a little bit these other guys mentioned the top 3 seeds, skipped MU and went to talking about Eberlein Drive

I don't really consider either a mistake. Lamb is by far the better player and has had a better career. I think he was going UConn so MU's chances weren't great. NCAA championship and NBA player.

Newbill is good but not great player. I think people are enamored by the number of points he put up for Penn state. He was the best scorer on a bad team. Never made the NCAA and wasn't drafted and been no where near an NBA roster.

Both players in front of him on the roster in Blue and Jamil both had a cup of coffee in the NBA.

Newbill would have been better than Reggie Smith.

I'd take Wilson over newbill. Exactly like buzz did.

We weren't going to get lamb. He went to uconn.

Lamb is by far better.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

Ethan Happ on skates in a tie game to end the game. Hate to see it.

Buzz told the story that Lamb went to an MU summer camp and ask Buzz for a scholarship. Buzz did not think he was that good.

Swing and a miss.

Where did he say that? Just seems wild that a top 25 recruit would be begging to come and wouldn't get offered

Ive heard the same story. Was Lamb a late riser? Could have been early in HS.

Hopefully the elam ending starts to see more traction. The ending of games is much more enjoyable.

However the fouls leading to 1 free throw and ball back is dumb.

Purdue proving that elam is a much better end goal then the clock.

I believe he was. I think he also had a late growth spurt too.

Especially when he was a Providence area kid.

Lamb was a late riser, but also reportedly had a really bad showing at the Marquette camp. It was a miss, but you can only evaluate based on what you see and I've been told that what MU saw was definitely not good.
