I’ll go out on a limb and say Wojo isn’t selecting the MU TBT team. So if Duane Wilson’s dad is going to get butthurt over Duane not being invited to the TBT team so be it.

Joe is the Coach
Fitz is the GM

Above them is a POBO and an Owner.

I think if all the members of the team show up to play, we can win the tournament this year.

How could you think that? They only were within points of winning the tournament last year, have made deep runs every year they’ve been in it.

Depends on how many more times and how many are worth 1, 2, and 3 points when the ball does go through the hoop on each side.

Golden Eagles are a 4 Seed.

They interviewed Travis Diener.  He's had back and forth conversations with D. Wade and he felt if not for Coronavirus, D. Wade would play with the team this year.  Still a 5% chance, but he does not think likely.

Shame to because who knows how much longer wade would be in good enough shape to still be "Wade" if he played

I think our team is under rated. Lots of fancy names on other teams. However, what we have going for our team is literally the entire team has played together now for many years. The one new addition is Luke , he is a known commodity to most of the team, and adds the inside big man dimension we have not had. Also the diverse fire power of our lineup creates a lot of problems for the other teams. We have guys who are great at the dribble drive penetration, we have long range bombers, and we move the ball extremely well to the open guy.

In this case slightly misleading.

We are the 4 seed. Every team was seeded 1-24. So we were rated 4th out of 24 and got a bye.

It's because we added Luke.  The TBT organizers listened to your hatred of him and realized that he makes our team worse.

Yep...so in essence the last 1 seed, if translated into March Madness lingo.

Didn't see this mentioned earlier in the thread (sorry if it was and I missed it), but ESPN will televise all 23 games.

https://www.syracuse.com/orangebasketball/2020/06/tbt-announces-2020-site-dates-and-multi-year-television-deal-with-espn.html

TBT and ESPN announced basic details of the 2020 tournament Thursday morning in a news release that indicated the two had agreed to “a new, multi-year, multi-platform rights extension." All 23 TBT games this summer will be televised by the sports network. Games will be played in the Nationwide Arena, a multipurpose facility that hosts Columbus Blue Jackets hockey games.

I believe the espn "networks" carried all the games last year as well.
But with multiple games occurring at the same time, many of the games were shifted to espn3, which required streaming.

I wonder if it'll be different this year as all the games will be at one location and it would be possible to televise each game on one of the espn primary on air channels.

And there is no other live sports on so there should be plenty of time.

Maybe I just have a vested interest because I have liked the concept/format since this thing started, but I really feel like this could be a ratings bonanza. People are starved for live sports.
