Washington spent $71K. Nearly half of that on food, for nine recruits. They did save on travel being able to fly everyone direct.

Obviously, ice sculptures are a necessity to land a kid - they got eight of the nine to sign.  Oh, and the story identifies multiple violations.  I wonder if UDub reported them.
