So he's going to sue states for following the administration's guidelines?

Not disputing the apparent innanity of this, but this thread is a perfect example of the frustrations that some of us have with this board.

1) was a new thread needed?
2) the usual suspects then all line up with commentary that contributes nothing but the equivalent of politcal twitter comments.  Sultan excepted.
3) rinse, repeat

I share Ziggy's frustrations.  We all know how people feel politically.  No need to introduce that at every turn.

Echo this.  But you want to change things, bring facts or reasoned analysis to further the discussion.  Name calling, Complaints, counter-complaints, and so on are boring.

So to discuss this without getting too political...it seems like there's a big difference between threatening to sue states that don't follow the three-phase guidelines issued last week, vs threatening to sue states that don't follow the daily intuition of POTUS. I could see a somewhat reasonable argument for the former, but certainly not the latter.

And of course this begs the question on the flipside: If he's going to sue states for being "too protective," shouldn't he also sue states that are too quick to reopen? Again the three-phase guidelines would seem to provide a reasonable benchmark.

It's all rope-a-dope.

He ain't suing any state over this. It's about intimidation and cover for trump.

Again, from a political perspective, make a cogent case that the federal government should sue the states.

Governor Hogan (R-Maryland) thanked President Trump for allowing Maryland to process the 500,000 COVID tests Hogan arranged to purchase from South Korea.

Probably should have thanked the federales for not stealing them, too.
