One of the most amusing things about Falwell's "misdeeds" are that they are perfectly legal, and while unconventional, not all that shocking. Plenty of swingers in the world, people who have a voyeur streak, etc... but when doing them makes you a completely hypocrite and fraud, you look like the biggest POS ever.  It's like being an obnoxious preachy vegan who shames anyone who eats meat, wears leather, or drinks milk...then getting filmed smashing a bacon cheeseburger from Shake Shack...repeatedly

WASHINGTON – In a claim likely to intensify the controversy surrounding one of the most influential figures in the American Christian conservative movement, a business partner of Jerry Falwell Jr has come forward to say he had a years-long sexual relationship involving Falwell's wife and the evangelical leader.
Giancarlo Granda says he was 20 when he met Jerry and Becki Falwell while working as a pool attendant at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel in March 2012. Starting that month and continuing into 2018, Granda told Reuters that the relationship involved him having sex with Becki Falwell while Jerry Falwell looked on.

Man that Fountainbleau definitely has a seedy side.  I remember being at their bar one night and two clearly Orthodox Jewish men had four prostitutes between them.  The outfit differences between the four of them definitely drew some attention.
