I know it won't happen, but wouldn't that be something if Sam came back.  Markus would be gone, so if his main beef was not being the center point of the offense in 19-20, he certainly would be in 20-21.  I can't imagine sitting on the bench watching UVA's extremely painful to watch offense has been a joy for a guy that likes watching the ball go through the hoop.

Yes, I realize this isn't happening.

I can imagine thinking Kihei Clark is the perfect partner to get Sam the ball in good position, while also not being afraid to share the spotlight when the big shot is needed. Solid recruiting class coming in, but Sam should get first shot at being the leader.

I love the dream, but think he's in a pretty good position.

Sam Hauser (6-8 F) Virginia.

Guy is pretty good, not really what we're looking for, but may be eligible to grad transfer should he chose to.

(ducks)

Pass. I hear he comes with a lot of baggage.

6-foot-9, Charmin-soft baggage.

RE: Hauser (s)

Read posts the "experts" on this board from months ago. We are going to be so much better without players like this due to our improved athleticism. We'd much rather have players who run fast and jump high than those who actually excel at playing the game.

The advanced metrics agree with this analysis.

There's about a 0% chance of this happening.

But I'm curious... Are there any examples of players transferring out and then coming back to their original school?
