You can't put Koby and Sacar in the same category. Not even close.

Dont disagree but sacar is very very subpar of a 5th year starting 3 in a power 6 conference, sadly

This is one of the most complete games Markus has ever played. I don't care who it was against, just unreal efficiency and control.
Was going to say the exact same thing. Best all-around game I can remember

As Georgetown continues to fade out of college basketball, this nugget: five straight years with no NCAA's.  Last time that happened? 1974.

Ewing moves to 19-32 in three years of Big East play.

Stop having late season collapses, don't lose games you should win constantly, show up to big games and you will stop hearing the boos.

You don't boo a tournament team.  A 3 game losing streak isnt a late season collapse. Grow tougher and don't be a whiny b*tch
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Press break super easy without Koby

Crazy how ez it was
In fact we are simply light years better offensively with him on the bench

Lose to teams above them, win the games below them.  Mediocrity.   There you go.

B*tch about wins. B*tch about losses. The Marquette way

Next year could be DePaul like.

Feel like Ewing has done a great job. Defections, injuries have taken a huge toll and yet they have competed like hell and won a game or two I never would have suspected.

Your over-the-top criticism of Sacar is as idiotic as your over-the-top criticism of Fischer was.

I'd say this win officially clinched an NCAA birth. Something I'm not taking for granted.

You lost four players mid season to transfers, McClung for like 6 games and Yurtseven for 4. That is just brutal, especially McClung and Yurtseven, with them you had a chance.  Cannot blame it on Ewing, but he needs to rebuild very quickly and Georgetown is not big on JUCOs.  Believe 3 commits so far, but nobody really high ranked in 2020.

You will lose Allen, Yurtseven and Mosely and count in those four who transferred and that's seven scholarships open.  Not good.

No one wants to say it, but a sixth year w/o an NCAA in 2021 puts some heat on Ewing, and Georgetown is not ready for that kind of discussion.

I'd imagine he'd resign to save face the way Mullin did

I don't think I've ever seen a losing team dribble it out with 20 seconds on the clock.

Well they actually chucked up a 3 and drilled it with one second left, cutting it from 24 to 21. Killing our NET!

Could imagibe this board if the last 5 years at Georgetown occurred n then the midseason akanno-gate!?!? 🤯🤯

Funny though.  I wondered what happened with the score going form 69->72.  Just re-watched the end, TV camera cut away to Wojo walking towards the handshake line with about 2.5s left, you see him pause, glance up, and then keep going - with a slight groan by the crowd.

Hes prolly 7th or 8th relative to his position in the BE. Like the kid,  reprents the U very well, just sub par. Part of why we are 18-8, 8-7. Solid on the cusp of very good team with a few too many problems, not not enuff solutions.

Georgetown is just so depleted at the moment. I'm feeling like I do after the December cupcake games right now. They weren't able to bring a competitive roster to Milwaukee tonight. Although, in the end, it's a nice top 60 NET win on paper.

Saturday is a statement game. Need that one to get some moment going heading into March.

Who are the 6 or 7 players at Sacar's position that you think are better than him?

For me...

Powell
Alexander
Scruggs
Heron
Sacar

I'd question the positions on this. I would assume Sacar is the "3" in our starting lineup. Powell, Alexander, Scurggs I would think are the "2s" in their starting lineups. Unless Sand Knit was generally talking about non-point guards than I would probably agree that he is somewhere in the 7th or 8th range.

Glad we seal-clubbed a team that has basically been reduced to playing walk-ons. The win likely punches our ticket to Dayton at least and a loss would have been a disaster.

Win 2 out of our next 3 and that's a fine finish that puts on us track for a seed that should win a NCAA game. Do that and Wojo's trajectory is upward.

But it really all depends on if Jekyll or Hyde shows up in those three games.  If the @prov team shows up we're in trouble. If the vs. Butler team comes to play we could win all three.

Let's see.
