Marquette cannot win with Markus taking 13 shots, this deferring from Markus and giving his shots to Koby n Sacar is suicide. They cannot shoot and Koby may be the dumbest player in D1 bball.  Markus taking contested shots is better than Koby or Sacar taking wide open ones.  Kobys air ball to seal the game was certainly appropriate

That is a fair question.  He has been a trainwreck this year.  He competes and is a good defender but literally is a trainwreck on offense.  The shooting and hesitation in ball movement, terrible passing and turnovers has just been horrible this year.

Woke up hoping the game was a bad dream. Markus seems to have lost a step and his shooting touch.  With a poor Markus we are a lousy team same as last year at this time.

Last year, during the swoon, I felt like Markus took too many shots. These past two games, I think he deferred too much. Hoping he finds a happy medium. For seeding purposes, we really need the Providence and Georgetown games.
