Check out the improvement from year 1 to year 2.

Thanks, Mark. Bailey was the main reason why I, and several others here, thought MU had the possibility to be better with the loss of those 2 guys who quit on us.

Early this season, I thought maybe we were wrong, but it is looking pretty good now. I think Glow was spot on about the missed dunk chance turning around his season. I love the confidence he is playing with now and hope it continues into the post-season.

Attaboy, Ners. Way to not give anybody else credit for being right while arguing you were justified for being wrong.

I bet you've been doing that since you were 8.24057739 years old!

Also, way to make sure Wojo and his assistants get little to no credit for Bailey's improvement.

Sorry you chose to interpret my comments in the wrong way.  I understand your pre-disposition to take offense to my posts that do not heap praise on Wojo.

For those that don’t know......PRPG is basically the basketball equivalent of the baseball WAR stat

It stands for points above replacement player at a given usage.......Markus leads the country in this stat so far this season.

Bailey showed his lack of consistency tonight, going from 16 and 8 to zero points and a few boards.  He is a key figure for MU down the stretch, has to bring more to the table.  Not sold he can do that, he will see. Nice to see Cain have a good game.

Yep. I still love the kid and think he has potential to be very good, but let's hold off on fitting him for a Hall of Fame ring!

Excellent point, glow!

80 Scoopers DID see it coming.

And those were just the folks who voted in the poll. I'm sure there were many, many others.

Bailey's PT increased near the end of his freshman season because unlike Pouty McPouterson, he could play some defense. So it wasn't that big a leap to think that with him getting much of the PT that Pouty had received, he would improve a lot.

And hell, he probably would have improved even more if only it weren't for ...

Yes! 1 of 80!
