MU1980

For the second year in a row, I have the "win everyday" pass, which gets me in to every game.  Last year I was able to get seats for every game, but this year they are not guaranteeing seats for the win everyday pass holders.  There have been two games so far where I was given standing room only (SRO) tickets (Villanova and Depaul) and I did not attend those games.  Does anyone know how SRO works at the Fiserv Forum and is it worth attending a game without a seat, or am I better off watching at home?  Where do people go to watch? Thanks in advance.

LAMUfan

It is the best standing room only basketball arena I have ever been to.  Bar tables and seats available, the 3rd floor bar, sometimes they have elevated rafters set up to stand in the back.  Unless you can't handle physically walking around and standing I would recommend it.

HowardsWorld

I'll be more than happy to take your SRO if you do not use them :)

1980, you could have easily found a seat at the DePaul game.  While it was a sellout, it wasn't anywhere near capacity.  No upper deck usher is going to bother you if you scope one out after tip and if the actual seatholder shows, you could just politely move to another.

Thanks for the input everyone.  My girlfriend and I are healthy and do lots of walking every day, so that is not an issue.  It sounds like it will still definitely be worth it to go to the game so I am glad I asked.  The first time doing something you always wonder how it is going to be and I think at some arena's it is probably not worth going, but at Fiserv it is.  Thanks again.

There's a SRO area behind section 116 that is an awesome view. Did it for a couple Bucks games last year.

I've never tried watching a game from the 3rd floor bar, but if you got there early enough there's a bar/high top seating area that would give you a "seat."

Thanks.  We will definitely get there early if we have SRO tickets.

Bucks sell SRO tickets only. MU does not. So, there are many area to watch the game. The Westside of the upperdeck is one of many area's.

If you did in fact graduate in 1980, that puts you at approximately 60 years old?
If it's a sellout or weekend game, the Panarama Club is like a very packed bar on News Years Eve. If you go, bring your earplugs.

The nice thing about the Fiserv is if you get bored with the game, you can just turn around and look out the Rear Window.
Have some patience, FFS.

I actually started at Marquette in 1980, so I am still very young at 57 years of age.  With that said, I do not have the best of hearing and that works just as well as earplugs.  :)

This. I have been in many "sold out" arenas and stadiums in my life, and I always have found unoccupied seats to sit in if that's what I wanted.

I've gone to plenty of games as a fan.

You should be fine.  It appears the Ticket Office just released several blocks of held-back tickets today.  Plenty of open seats as of today, some pretty good.

Last year my seats were last row of 107 and there was SRO with a standing table right behind those seats.  Gotta get there early.

The usher told us that for Bucks games, you had to have a ticket or reservation of some sort for those spots.

Don't know if it changed for this year.
