Oh, happy birthday guru - let's all be happy together.

As I wrote on cracked Sidewalks today, this is the most balanced team since 2013. It doesn't seem like that with markus scoring so much, but I do believe value add measures all and we are deep finally and can survive one big player being down.

Unreal that they wouldn’t miss the last Ft on purpose instead of making to go up 2 with no timeouts for Xavier.... they legit need to turn and heave instead of inbound with the clock stopped

Wish this team was tough.

Agreed.  Too soft to win.  Can't believe anybody supports Wojo.

Thought the same man. That's a prayer and a half. They got set and had a chance to tie the game with a long two.

Assuming from my home in Auburn covered with marquette stuff I'm one of the few who watched every second if tonight (once seton hall ended of course so we could watch) the night after watching Auburn's double header and showing up in between for my 6 am to 7:30 am basketball in a Marquette shirt.

Did reject one guy who on the next trip dunked, so hopefully he noted the mu shirt and watched tonight too!

Like Wojo or not, if u cant tip ur hat to Wojo n the team after that win on the road w/o Markus then u are a complete loser and simply a hater.  Coach K and John Wooden lose that game down 6-8 late with no Markus 99 out of 100

Buzz would have won it in regulation.

That was a real damn barn burner! Guys have been playing their asses off all year with a couple exceptions. They have their grind mentality ingrained now and that should get MU into the tournament.

Only posts when losing or after a loss. He doesnt enjoy coming here during wins. Just gets satisfaction posting how bad wojo is and a player is after a loss

Well...he was pretty close to calling it. 61-61 at end of regulation.

Btw - How many threads are you going to copy and paste your ridiculous comment about 99 out of 100 times even Coach K or Wooden couldn’t have won tonight’s game?

It’s something that’s pretty common sense if you have a halfway decent basketball IQ.... X has no timeouts so should we A) make FT to go up 2 with 2.3 second left and let our oppponent in bound ball all the way up the floor with the clock stopped or B) miss FT intentionally and make them rebound, turn, and heave a full court shot..... so frustrating the staff still doesn’t think about these small details that can win or lose games but happy X decided to pass that deep pass instead of shooting at the buzzer

I suspect Wooden, with Abdul-Jabar, Walton, Mike Warren, Hazzard and Goodrich, probably would have pulled it out. Just like Wojo.

I didn't love the offensive strategy once Markus went out.

But it worked.

If he wanted Symir to foul, he should have had him pick his man up earlier.  Don't let them get their feet to the the three point line and then put it on the kid to foul but not in the act of shooting.
Was told to give moderate 3/4 pressure n then Was told to foul him as soon as he crossed mid court . Plz stfu u loser
