There is a Common Denominator to ruined threads.

Stupidity....always the common denominator

Nice win. Important win. Nice going, Warriors!

Yup, got a little momentum going. A win against St Johns would be really big. It would be holding serve, but to get above .500 after starting 1-3. That would be a nice boost.

Christ you are toxic.

Georgetown had the higher eFG% per KenPom. MU won this one by taking care of the ball (lowest TO% of the season), rebounding well on both ends and getting to the line. Nice road win.

Really nice play to get Markus the wide open corner three late. Musta been a busted coverage by Gtown, because we all known that Wojo can't adjust/only allows hero ball.

Weve been really good at play recently.

I am not Christ.  In my view, Christ is not toxic and we need more Christ in our lives.

This was fun basketball to watch today. Not exactly heavy on defensive stops, but still a great game with two teams playing well and going toe to toe.

Georgetown controlled the pace a little more than I expected, but I thought we adjusted to that really well. And even with some questionable fouls, we never looked rattled. The composure and effort today were awesome. The mental game today was strong. Hopefully that provides something to build on for the rest of the season.

Also, Markus dropping 40 doesn't even surprise me anymore. This kid is something else.

The play that led to Theo’s dunk with around 12 minutes left in 2nd half was a thing of beauty.

Marquette basketball is the hobby.   Say, not going to rip Jayce Johnson today?  Why not....

It’s sad that you, as a MU fan, trashed players busting their arse for MU....saying horrible things about him and other players and don’t have the stones to man up.  Really a shame, but everyone has seen how you are.

Good day child, enjoy your VC conference with all your pals.

10. There was 18 seconds left on the clock in the PC game. The shot went up with 9 seconds left. There was an instant under 10 seconds to foul before the shot went up, but these were different scenarios.

JJJ, I don’t believe that is accurate with the timing.  Official timer in the box score says he made the shot with 4 seconds left.

I think the key to our win today was that stretch in the first half where Markus was sitting and Sacar took over and couldn’t be stopped.  Markus, however, got us a big basket whenever we needed one in the second half.  Nice, gutsy win.

The man (Johnson) simply has no skill.  Being tall is not a skill.  Some people on this board don’t seem to understand this.

He is wrong, but I am more sympathetic to his POV because he doesn't derail and grind every thread into the ground.

I was impressed with Koby near the end of the game today. He struggled to hit shots in the first half (even had one or two real clunkers), but he stuck with it all game and hit some big FTs in the end of the game. He's had some issues with keeping his composure at times, but I liked his attitude today. This is the kind of maturity I'd love to keep seeing from him.

Koby did play well overall.  He starts to score more consistently and this team goes to a whole new level.  Hope it happens and Markus gets his tourney run.  Let’s beat St. John’s first! Go MU!

9 assists, one turnover.   Clutch free throws.   It is one thing to miss 3s, it is another to get to the rack and miss lay ups.  He and Sacar both need to do a better job of finishing through contact.
