Could have cut to four and Koby hits the TOP of the backboard with that corner three shot.  Never seen that. Then of course CU goes on a roll.  Oh well...

That hurt

I'm not sure Koby should be on the floor. I'd rather have Elliott's energy or there.
agreed and he can hit an open 3

This could be worse.  All things considered we are in the game and have a chance.

And let's try not to bash the players.

Nothing but the top of the backboard!!!

I'd hoped the break would have let him clear his head and come back with confidence, but he appears to have a bad case of the yips

sounds like another wonder game from McEwen, boy has he been a great addition

Happy to be in the game and have a chance....that's what this program has come to

Yes, with `Nova,  Butler, Xavier, Seton Hall ahead of Creighton.  Next DePaul, St. John's, Creighton. Then MU, Providence, Georgetown. If we are fortunate we move into the second group.

Why is SJ's ahead of us? They will turn us over and over again. We are too slow and have no second or third option. This is the team Wojo built.
That would put Creighton as a tournament team. Doesn't qualify as average.

A pick n roll with Koby and Ed is the absolute dumbest thing we could do.

Our offense seems to target corner 3s. With the new line, is it shorter in the corners like the NBA?

I believe it is.

muguru

On the positive side, I'm not that upset. I wasn't expecting that much from this team this year anyway.

I want this quote to serve as a reminder to the vast majority of scoop posters in regards to the MU BB program.

Looking at the HT box score. I'm really surprised how close we are.
Creighton is shooting out of this world. Maybe if we can get them to come back down to earth.

Oh. Jk. Ignore this comment.

Milkshakes

Out hustled and out played at every single position. Pathetic game. Our bigs should have shaped this game instead they are sitting on the bench. Where is the heart?

skianth16

The defense looks as bad as we've seen in recent years right now. We've dug a deep hole that's going to be awfully hard to get out of at this point.

They are playing pretty pathetically and creighton is draining dumb threes but it's still kinda early in the conference season no? I'll stay away from the ledge for now. This team definitely can play better than this

BM1090

They will be fine. It's a tough road game to open conference play. Bounce back on Saturday.

GoldenDieners32

Creighton is simply playing harder

jonny09

Why haven't we put Jayce back in??

I feeling the same thing but with Ballock.

I don't mind losing this game. I hate losing this game by doing stupid things.

Let the fans that immediately lose hope one game into conference play leave for a while.
